ABOUT TOWN: Celebrate 10 years on track

After a most successful Day Out With Thomas event in June the West Coast Railway Heritage Park is ready for another big day, as tomorrow, Saturday (July 10) marks the 10th anniversary of the opening of the park. Celebrations begin at 10:30 a.m.

Whistler-Squamish transit gets nod from council

Squamish and Whistler are both now formally on side with the idea of a commuter service between the two communities. Squamish council passed a motion Tuesday (July 6) that gave the idea support in principle.

Council opposes bank in Business Park
