22% of locals say that not using winter tires is their biggest pet peeve with Hwy 99 drivers in the winter.

We know the Sea to Sky Highway is often busy, especially on weekends and holidays.

And it can be deadly, as we saw last weekend in Pemberton.

In 2023, 12 people died on the Sea to Sky Highway, according to RCMP.

It is no surprise that driving behaviours on Highway 99 between North Vancouver and Pemberton are often a source of griping for Squamish locals.
