We all know that Squamish has been one of the fastest growing communities in Canada for a few years now.
It is also not disputed that with that growth has come a housing crunch, with more people wanting to live here than we have suitable homes available.
But which neighbourhoods are seeing the most interest from home seekers?
The 小蓝视频 polled 164 readers and asked the question: Which Squamish neighbourhood do you think sees the most interest from potential homebuyers?
The poll ran from March 25 to April 1, 2025.
Of the 164 votes, we can determine that 85 are from within the community.
(The survey doesn't require poll takers to identify their community, so the number of locals is likely higher.)
About 30% thought the Garibaldi Highlands was getting the most interest.

For January and February of 2025, REW listing views鈥攑eople looking at listings online 鈥攚ere highest for downtown Squamish, followed by Garibaldi Highlands, followed by Valleycliffe. The Garibaldi Estates and Brackendale were also popular clicks.
This doesn't mean that these folks went ahead and contacted an agent or ended up buying in these communities. It is home seekers looking at listings.
(Like tire kickers on a new car lot.)
