QMJHL Roundup: Dufour scores, adds two assists, Voltigeurs defeat Armada 4-2.

BOISBRIAND, Que. — William Dufour scored a goal and added two assists in a 4-2 Drummondville Voltigeurs victory over the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada Sunday afternoon.

BOISBRIAND, Que. — William Dufour scored a goal and added two assists in a 4-2 Drummondville Voltigeurs victory over the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada Sunday afternoon. 

After allowing two unanswered goals in the first period, the Voltigeurs responded with four of their own. Two of them came in the first, while another pair came in the third. 

William Dufour scored the go-ahead goal for the Voltigeurs at 8:24 of the third period. Justin Cote, Jeremy Lapointe and Edouard Charron also scored for the Voltigeurs.

Luke Henman and Simon Lavigne scored for the Armada.

Francesco Lapenna turned aside 22 shots for Drummondville. Olivier Adam stopped 42 shots for Blainville-Boisbriand. 


CATARACTES 5 OCEANIC 2

SHAWINIGAN, Que. — Charles Beaudoin scored twice as the Shawinigan Cataractes defeated the Rimouski Oceanic 5-2 in Shawinigan on Sunday afternoon. Vasily Ponomarev scored the game winning power play goal for the Cataractes at 0:39 of the second period. Felix-Olivier Chouinard and Isiah Campbell also scored for the Cataractes. Tyson Hinds scored two goals for the Oceanic.


EAGLES 6 MOOSEHEADS 4 

HALIFAX, N.S.— Dawson Stairs scored twice while Jeremy Langlois scored a goal and two assists as the Cape Breton Eagles won 6-4 over the Halifax Mooseheads in Halifax. Emile Hegarty-Aubin, Jarrett Baker, and Nathan Larose also scored for Cape Breton. Nicolas Ruccia made 29 saves in a winning effort for Cape Breton. Brady James made 37 saves in the loss.


HUSKIES 3 PHOENIX 2

SHERBROOKE, Que. — Xavier Parent scored twice, but his team couldn't overcome allowing three unanswered goals as the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies won 3-2 over the Sherbrooke Phoenix in Sherbrooke. Samuel Regis, Edouard St-Laurent and Alex Arsenault each scored a goal for the Huskies.


REMPARTS 5 DRAKKAR 2 

BAIE-COMEAU, Que. —The Quebec Remparts scored five unanswered goals to get the better of the Baie-Comeau Drakkar 5-2. Cole Cormier, Theo Rochette, Thomas Caron, James Malatesta and Xavier Filion each scored a goal for Quebec in the win. Brandon Frattaroli and Etienne Arseneau scored for Baie-Comeau.
