Whistler RCMP is asking for the public's help finding a missing Whistler teenager.
Damian Faulkner, 16, was last seen at Whistler Secondary School on Friday, Oct. 28 at about 12:40 p.m., Whistler RCMP said in a release.
"Police and Damian’s social network are concerned about his mental wellness. If anyone sees Damian, please contact Whistler RCMP right away," the release said.
"Damian is known to hang around in Whistler at the local skate park, Village Stroll, and Whistler Secondary School, and he may have taken a bus to Pemberton yesterday."
Faulkner is described as Caucasian; 5-10 (178 centimetres); with a slim build, fair complexion, and short, curly, dark brown hair.
He was last seen wearing green pants, a plaid red coat, a white T-shirt, and a black ball cap.
“Damian’s network and police are very concerned for his mental wellness right now,” said Cpl. Angela Kermer of the Sea to Sky RCMP, in the release. “Our appeal for help is so we can facilitate finding Damian and connecting him with supports so he does not remain a risk to himself or others.”
Police ask anyone with information to contact the Whistler RCMP at 604-932-3044, local police, or contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS, or go to the website
