Recent donations from the Squamish Campus of Capilano College and the Howe Sound Performing Arts Association have made it possible for several young residents to attend Broadway or Bust, a musical theatre summer intensive taking place in Squamish from Aug. 8 to 26.
Camp organizers are asking families filling out registration forms to make a case for a partial scholarship that would offset the $350 cost of the theatre camp.
To apply, families are asked to pick up a registration form from Billie's Bouquet and address a letter to "Broadway or Bust" stating the reason they are applying for additional funding, as well as how much they would be looking for.
Requests for scholarships must be received by June 21, 2005 and every applicant will be contacted regardless of the outcome.
