What happened was, we went to the moon.

Pop star Carly Rae Jepsen just offered her fans a gift and solidified herself as a style icon.

Not only did she just drop the single for her highly anticipated album The Loneliest Time, but with it a deliciously whimsical music video.

The title track features a duet with singer, composer, and fellow Vancouverite Rufus Wainwright and a silent cameo from another local.

In the video, a blonde Jepsen lounges on a bed in front of a city skyline and walks out to a fire escape before flying up the rooftop to meet Wainwright. In the clip, she's wearing a nude vintage-esque lingerie set designed by none other than Vancouver independent designer .

Clayton posted to Instagram to confirm that the outfit, which was one of several costume changes in the video, was a Swiss dot lingerie archive piece from his 2017 autumn/winter collection entitled Worship.

This isn't the first time the singer has worn one of Clayton's couture designs. She also sported a custom red ruffled tulle minidress with beaded lace applique at this year's Bristol pride in the U.K. Jepsen also isn't Clayton's only celebrity fan, as most of his work is designed for pop stars and drag queens, many of whom have performed on TV's Drag Race.

Jepsen's album is set to release on October 21 (incidentally the same day as Taylor Swift's) and we can't wait to see what she wears in the other videos.
