It is official, the first of the two Squamish Husky gas station conversions to Otter Co-op stations is complete.
The re-branded downtown Otter Co-op at 38183 Cleveland Ave. opened for business on Monday, Jan. 16.
The second station, which will eventually also convert, is at 1814 Garibaldi Way.
Otter Co-op announced in August the purchase of 25 Husky retail fuel sites.
In addition to the two in Squamish, the other sites are in Chilliwack, Princeton, Whistler, Pemberton, Savona, Kelowna, Osoyoos, Penticton, Kamloops, Winfield, Harrison Hot Springs, Hope, Ashcroft, Summerland and Rock Creek.

The sites were bought from Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) as part of its agreement to acquire 171 Husky retail fuel sites from Cenovus Energy Inc.

Otter Co-op officially took ownership of these sites on Sept.13, though work to convert the downtown station began this month.
"We have maintained all of the local team and look forward to serving Squamish for years to come," Nicholson told The 小蓝视频 of the newly opened downtown location.
Construction has yet to start on the Garibaldi Way but is expected in the coming months.
