A major discount airline has added a new route out of Vancouver International Airport (YVR).
Flair Airlines, arguably Canada's largest low-cost carrier, has launched a new route connecting Vancouver with Windsor, Ontario.
The new service is slated to commence on June 10, with twice-weekly flights to on Wednesdays and Saturdays. In line with the airline's other bargain fares, prices for one-way tickets on the route will start at $49 including all taxes and fees.
Windsorities will also get to enjoy service to two other new destinations, Halifax and Tucson, as Flair continues to expand its domestic network.
“Windsor has been an important market for us, and we’re excited to increase our service in and out of the airport with the addition of service to Vancouver,” said Garth Lund, Chief Commercial Officer, Flair Airlines.
“We want to give Windsorites affordable options to travel across the country, coast to coast, and we look forward to continuing our relationship with Windsor International Airport.”
