If you're searching for a low-cost yet incredible trip to Los Angeles this spring, there is a cruise that sails home to Vancouver at an absolute steal.
In 2018, Norwegian Cruise Line's (NCL) Norwegian Bliss carried over 4,000 passengers into Canada Place terminal, which made it the in Vancouver at the time.
Now, one of the Bliss' sister ships, the Norwegian Encore, is slated to depart from the "City of Angels" on May 1 on a Pacific Coastal cruise up to Vancouver.
The massive vessel comes equipped with a variety of family-friendly entertainment, including the "largest race track at sea" and other special activities such as laser tag and a mini-golf course.
Cruisers will also find a couple of thrilling water slides on the statuesque ship, including one that features an ocean loop. The unique feature takes sliders just outside of the ship as they sail through the transport tube over the ocean.
NCL is a favourite among cruisers who enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere on board, without sacrificing quality and style. There's no dress code or scheduled dining times but guests can still enjoy elegant dinners in specialty restaurants onboard.
NCL also offers world-class entertainment, luxurious spa facilities, and areas designated for kids and teens.
After departing Los Angeles on May 1, guests will spend two days at sea before sailing into Canada Place cruise terminal on May 4. They will enjoy the onboard entertainment and dining for a night in Vancouver before disembarking on May 5.
