小蓝视频 man, 22, dead after motorcycle crash in Langley

Police want to speak to people who were driving in the area at the time of crash

A 22-year-old Abbotsford motorcyclist died Sept. 17 in a crash in Langley involving a truck.

A collision on a 小蓝视频 highway between a motorcyclist and pickup truck driver has claimed the life of an Abbotsford man. 

Police officers and firefighters in Langley responded Sept. 17 to a serious vehicle collision in the 26900 block of the Fraser Highway at 5:30 p.m.

The motorcyclist has been identified as a 22-year-old man from Abbotsford and he died at the scene. 

The initial investigation has indicated that the driver of a Dodge pickup truck was stopped in the centre lane of the Fraser Highway waiting to complete a left turn and head east when a motorcyclist was travelling west on Fraser Highway and collided with the front of truck.

The driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene and police say the person is cooperating with the investigation. 

The Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) was been called out to assist. ICARS is responsible for the forensic reconstruction of collisions that result in serious injury or death between Pemberton and Boston Bar.

Langley RCMP is asking anyone with dash-camera footage or witnesses to come forward and call 604-532-3200.
