Victoria police say they’re still looking for a woman who went missing 43 years ago this week.
Linda Pedersen was 24 when she was last seen at 9:15 a.m. June 3, 1981 leaving her boyfriend’s apartment.
She reportedly was back at her own apartment before 11:30 a.m. and spoke with a male acquaintance.
Her whereabouts after that are unknown, and she left all of her valuables and medication behind.
Pedersen had planned to meet a girlfriend at 4:30 p.m. but didn’t show up.
She was reported to be meeting an actor that evening.
The five-foot-five Pedersen had a medium build and weighed 130 pounds at the time of her disappearance and had wavy, reddish-blond hair.
She often wore a dark-coloured beret.
VicPD said the file is still active with the department’s Historical Case Review Unit.
